The Challenge
Free Clear Mind Center is a mental health clinic based in Indiana, founded by Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Laura Welch. Over the course of more than 25 years, Free Clear Mind Center now offers familiar services like individual and group therapy to more unique modalities like art therapy.
As time passed, Free Clear Mind Center needed new strategies and more staff to keep up with their growing client list.
In addition to wanting to build brand awareness for the clinic in general, Laura was looking for customized strategies and expert support that would connect her clinic with the right users, highlight her staff and services, and ultimately help more people in the area.

Together, we completed a full audit of the Free Clear Mind Center’s current marketing efforts and brainstormed to create a fully customized digital marketing strategy that would take this mental health clinic to the next level.
The Strategy
Our main objective was to create an approach that would support Laura’s goal of intentional brand awareness and lead generation.
The solution? Two evergreen, ongoing Google Ad campaigns.
- One promoting the brand—the specialities and services that make Free Clear Mind Center unique.
- The other was focused on catering to prospective clients, using specialized targeting and specific service promotion to align with a potential client’s query.
We also wanted to celebrate the diversity in available services, while also creating content that meets users where they’re at. We work closely with Laura to ensure that her ads are consistently supporting her clinic’s and staff’s needs.
The other piece to consider was Google’s policies. Free Clear Mind Center offers mental health services, which means they’re required to align with Google’s healthcare advertising rules.
It continues to be important to remain mindful of the copy phrasing and keywords being used so that we can align with our target audiences while also staying compliant with Google Ads.
The Results
In 90 days, Free Clear Minds’ Google campaigns resulted in:
- Ad Impressions: 211,637
- Click-Through Rate: 3.01%
- Completed Conversions Through Ads: 365.95
