OUR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We love giving back to the community of Sioux Falls (and beyond).
Since our start in 2009, 9 Clouds has been committed to growth opportunities for community organizations. Our founders wanted to bring stronger digital knowledge to rural areas of the Midwest, and we’ve since expanded to markets throughout North America.
Along the way, we’ve advocated for our local communities. Our team has served on nonprofit boards, biked for muscular dystrophy, and volunteered in many capacities to show our love for dogs and kids (oh, and a few cats as well).
Marketing for Local Nonprofits
Throughout our involvement and volunteering, we realized we could use our collective talents to help nonprofits in the Sioux Falls area.
That’s why, in 2018, 9 Clouds formed Marketing from the Heart.
Through this program, nonprofits can apply to receive a free digital marketing package. We meet with the nonprofit team to identify where they can use our help the most — from SEO work to Facebook management to Google Ads setup (with a Google Ads grant).
Then we do the work, along with educating the nonprofit team on how to use the digital tools and improve their processes to make the most of their online presence.

Want to know what our team is passionate about besides digital marketing? (Hint: it’s a lot of different things.)
Our team members volunteer their time serving on boards for organizations like REACH Literacy, the Stockyards Ag Experience, the Sioux Falls Figure Skating Club and Off, Off Broadway, Inc. We support social media and marketing for a small town and serve on various church leadership teams and boards.
We serve as advisors for college organizations, coordinate volunteers for the Sioux Falls Youth Hockey Association, and mentor young professional women in EmBe’s Women’s Leadership Program. And we donate both time and money to various other causes — from local fire departments to animal rescues to children’s organizations.
Not all of our volunteering is as individuals. As a group, we have run 5K races together, filled backpacks at Feeding South Dakota, served hearty meals to community members at The Banquet, and eaten too many pancakes supporting the Sioux Falls Lions Club.
