More and more auto dealerships are seeing the benefits behind running an Instagram account to sell inventory and build a following. Sometimes, this means you may need to manage more than one Instagram account.

Did you know you can run multiple Instagram accounts from one phone?

You can now add up to five Instagram accounts on one device — and quickly switch between them without having to log out or log back in! 

Adding and Switching Between Instagram Accounts

Being able to manage multiple accounts from one phone can be a huge time-saver for anyone working with Instagram for auto, especially if you own several different dealerships.

Adding and switching between multiple Instagram accounts is incredibly easy.

To add multiple accounts:

  1. Go to your profile and tap Instagram for Auto Dealers or Instagram for Auto Dealers in the top right.
  2. Scroll down and tap Add Account.
  3. Enter the username and password of the account you’d like to add.

To switch between accounts you’ve added:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Tap your username at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap the account you’d like to switch to.

Push Notifications for Multiple Instagram Accounts

Keep your adoring Instagram following engaged by keeping track of their comments and questions. Being responsive and transparent are two very important characteristics with all social media networks.

Setting up push notifications is a great way to stay on top of your Instagram engagement. Since you’re running multiple accounts, you can ask to receive multiple push notifications from any account that has them turned on.

To turn push notifications on or off:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Tap (Android) or (iOS) in the top-right corner > Push Notification Settings.
  3. Adjust your settings.
