Thanks to Copper Lounge for hosting this week’s Cloud Control podcast and thanks to Paul for sitting in and sharing some of his thoughts.
Nerd Front
Betaworks – Maker’s of TweetDeck (Twitter Application) and Bit.ly (Link Shortener) have now released outside.in. Outside.in aggregates local news by tracking news within a specified radius around your geographic location.
TopInWeb.com – I’m not sure Cloud Control really suggests using TopInWeb.com … but it’s a site to search for songs that can be downloaded directly into your iTunes for free. I don’t want to say the site isn’t legit, but it doesn’t even have a description.
6 Pixels of Separation – Mitch Joel’s book about how “Everyone is Connected” and how you can “Connect Your Business to Everyone.”
Which Website are you Most Thankful For?
Digg.com – Digg is an aggregator that allows users to vote for (a vote is called a “Digg”) online content. The content with the most Diggs is pushed to the front page where visitors can see what is, in theory, the most influential content on the internet.
MLBTradeRumors.com -These guys do a ton of research and have an extensive network of individuals in the baseball scene to give visitors the latest on any little bit of baseball trade information they can dig up.
NY Times – Hopefully you know what the New York Times is, but Scott is thankful for the website and the iPhone app, so check them out.
What’s On Your Mind?
Advertisting in Social Media – With paid content making some big headway in the online world, big changes are on the way. Disclosure will soon be required by law and some people are worried that we will no longer talk about anything but what we are paid to talk about.
Remember to let us know what you are reading, your thoughts on paid advertisement in social media, your favorite website, and/or your favorite Thanksgiving dish.
